The protection of audio-visual performances: presentation of the outcome of the WIPO diplomatic conference in Geneva 7-20 December 2000 by a panel of speakers who were present at the conference.

Chris Reed gave a talk on the protection of copyright and liability arising from various internet cases.

10 May 2001
Kevin Garnett QC gave a review of the law protecting photgraphic copyright, with examples of recent cases.

12 July 2001
Henry Carr QC gave a talk on copyright, privacy and human rights, with examples of recent cases.

6 September 2001
Dr Jim Parker will give a talk, entitled "Whose loan is it anyway?", with an overview of PLR developments in the European Union and beyond since the 1992 Lending Right Directive.

8 November 2001
It is proposed that Simon Newman, a Research Fellow at Queen Mary, University of London, will talk on the philisophical underpinnings of copyright.
